A True Pressure Fit Safety Gate is not screwed onto the doorframe or wall, but fitted in place under pressure, which means you avoid marks and holes in the wall or frame. If your indicator is invisible (white), then your safety gate has been mounted correctly; if your indicator is visible (red), then you need to tighten the nuts. If the indicator is still visible on the closed gate, add wall cups. If adding wall cups doesn’t help, then you can not mount the gate safely in this opening – choose a screw mounted gate instead.
